Focus on Authenticity
Breaking into the local laundry scene is a lot of work! One of the key points touched upon in the video was just how long it took for us to start building an online presence. In our case, it didn’t start picking up until around 4-5 months after the fact. What was important was throwing a “big net” as Craig said, and building an authentic presence with our own photos instead of relying on artificial intelligence. Doing these things really helped us stand out!
Plans for the Future
Another central part of the Curbside Interview was discussing our plans for the future. Top of the list is doubling our business by next year, and continuing that upward momentum each year after. It’s a high goal, but definitely one we can tackle. Reflecting on how we’ve grown with Pickup and Delivery, for example, it started off with a slow start, but continuing to push the service, really helped reach out to more people.
